About Me

I love anything handmade specially if it's created with a threaded needle --- be it a jewelry, embroidery, or accessory. I love working with my bare hands as it gives me comfort and peace. I also love collecting antique needlework books and keep myself busy learning from those ladies of centuries ago.

I'm an engineer and it was the only profession I used back home. Since I got married and became a full time housewife, holding a needle between my fingers became a daily activity. What started as a hobby to kill boredom became a passion --- some of my embroidery designs and 3D hand finishings had been published on various magazines here and abroad. Prior to that, I had submitted my works at the State Fair and has been winning multiple Blue Ribbons each time.

I'm a member of a national group called Embroiderers Guild of America (a.k.a. EGA). I belong to a couple of local chapters here in IA. I also teach counted thread embroidery whenever I get the chance, to either Regional Seminars of EGA or to local chapters workshops.

Over the years, I've been busy making jewelries, so opening an online shop was a great option. My etsy shop will be filled-up with affordable mentioned goodies at zero domestic shipping cost all the time. They're perfect for gift giving or keep them to yourself.
